PAR wins Curacao elections

The party, which is led by Eugene Ruggenaath, was declared the winner on Saturday after receiving 18, 362 votes in the April 28 general elections.The party of former prime minister Hensley Koeiman, PARTIDO MAN, receieved 16.071 votes coming in second. The election also marks the first time in 70 years that the political party PNP will not be represented in Parliament. The PNP did not get enough votes to secure any seats in Parliament although it is the country’s oldest political party.Koeiman’s government collapsed in February after only seven weeks in office when his coalition lost its majority. Transat completes Jonview Canada sale for 44 million

first_img Friday, December 1, 2017 MONTREAL – Transat A.T. Inc. has concluded the sale of its incoming tour operator unit Jonview Canada for $44 million to Japanese multinational H.I.S. Co. Ltd..The price could be adjusted on the date of final closing of the accounts, says Transat..On November 10, the Competition Bureau of Canada said the transaction did not warrant its intervention.“The sale of Jonview Canada completes our strategic refocusing around three main pillars: air transportation and travel distribution, which make up our leisure travel operations, as well as hotel operation,” said Jean-Marc Eustache, President and CEO of Transat.Eustache adds: “This transaction is the latest in a series of initiatives we have implemented in recent years to carry out the company’s new development strategy and ensure its long-term prosperity.” Transat completes Jonview Canada sale for $44 million Tags: Transat << Previous PostNext Post >>last_img read more
