Johnson is a four-star in the class of 2020.He didn’t take long to come to a decision on his recruitment. Johnson Jr. gave his pledge to Arizona State in December.Of course, he can’t sign with the Sun Devils until December. It is unclear to what extent he is still considering other programs. He isn’t afraid to share his excitement about at least one, though. Responding to news that he was being evaluated by Texas, Chad Johnson Jr. said it would be a “dream offer.”It does not appear that he has been offered quite yet. The article he is quote tweeting is behind 247’s paywall.Dream Offer 👀 https://t.co/LoFaqdegCN— Chad Johnson Jr. (@ChadYoloJ) March 5, 2019As of now, Johnson claims offers from ASU, Lane Kiffin and FAU, and his father’s alma mater, Oregon State. The Cathedral High School star is ranked No. 297 overall, per 247‘s composite rankings. He is the No. 57 wide receiver in the class, and the No. 27 recruit in California for the class of 2020.It should be noted that Johnson followed the Texas tweet with a retweet of one supporting ASU head coach Herm Edwards, so the Sun Devils may still be in decent shape. They may want to watch out if Tom Herman comes calling though.last_img
